With all the wet weather this summer, it seems like the weeds are growing better than our vegetables and flowers. Can you recognize some of these common Eastern Iowa weeds? (Weeds are defined as plants most people don’t want growing in their garden.)

Photos of the weeds are listed first. Possible names are listed in the dropdown, with a few extras thrown in.  Match the photos to the plants!!  If you do well, consider entering the Weed Identification Contest at the Iowa State Fair this August!!
